Moving to ProTTM
Bring your lists across at your own pace
The imports
What comes across
- Clients, with their billing details.
- Locations, with an address or a pin.
- Contacts at your clients and their locations.
- Your staff and subcontractors, as invitations.
- Vehicles and plant, with their compliance, registration and service dates.
- Who holds which ticket, with numbers and expiry dates.
What stays where it is: past jobs, timesheets and invoices aren't imported. Keep your old records for reference and start new work in ProTTM.
Running it again: a row that matches an existing record by name, email or fleet number can update it instead of adding a duplicate. Up to 5,000 rows per file.
How the move works
Five steps, at your own pace
Export your lists
Most job, accounting, HR and fleet systems can export lists as CSV files. Or paste your records into ProTTM's template for each list.Import them in order
Clients first, then locations and contacts. People before tickets. Columns are matched by name, and you can change any match.Check before you save
Each file is checked row by row, showing what will be added, updated or skipped, and any row to fix. Nothing is saved until you import.Invite your people
A people import creates invitations and holds them. Nothing is emailed until you send them.Start new work in ProTTM
Set up your rates, task types and schedule, then start new work in ProTTM from a date you choose.
Questions
Common questions
Can we bring our data across?
Yes. Export your clients, locations, contacts, people, vehicles, plant and tickets from your current system as CSV files, or paste them into ProTTM's template for each list. Columns are matched by name, including headings other systems commonly use.
Each file is checked row by row first, showing what will be added, updated or skipped. Nothing is saved until you choose to import.
Does the import bring our people across?
A people file creates invitations, not accounts. Nothing is emailed until you choose to send them. Import their tickets from a second file afterwards.
What about past jobs, timesheets and invoices?
They aren't imported. Keep your current system's records for reference and start new work in ProTTM from a date you choose. Clients, locations, people and fleet come across, so new work has what it needs.
